Article 1 – Who we are

Acelasers.co.uk is a trade name. You are buying from:

Nederland
Email: support@acelasers.com
Chamber of Commerce (KvK) number: 55358365

You can reach our customer service by email and via the chat on the website. We usually reply within one working day.

Article 2 – Scope

  1. These terms apply to every offer on acelasers.co.uk and to every order you place with us.
  2. You can read, save and print these terms before you order. You will also receive them as a link in your order confirmation.
  3. If you order as a business, these terms also apply. The rules that apply only to consumers, such as the right to withdraw (cancel), do not apply in that case, unless we agree otherwise with you.
  4. Any departure from these terms only applies if we agree it with you in writing (email included).

Article 3 – Offer and prices

  1. We describe our products as fully and accurately as possible. Photos show the product as faithfully as possible; small differences in colour or finish may occur.
  2. All prices are in GBP and include VAT. Any delivery charges are shown before you complete your order.
  3. An obvious mistake or error in our offer (for example a clearly incorrect price) does not bind us. If this happens, we will let you know as soon as possible and refund in full any amount you have already paid.

Article 4 – The contract

  1. The contract is concluded as soon as you complete your order at checkout using the button that commits you to pay.
  2. You will immediately receive an order confirmation by email. If anything is not right, please let us know as soon as possible.
  3. We may refuse or cancel an order for a good reason, for example if we suspect fraud or if a product unexpectedly becomes unavailable. We will tell you straight away and refund everything you have already paid within 14 days.

Article 5 – Payment

  1. You pay when you order, using one of the payment methods shown at checkout. Payment is handled by an authorised payment service provider; we do not see or store your debit or credit card details.
  2. If you choose to pay by bank transfer, we will dispatch your order once the payment has been received. If we have not received payment after 14 days, the order lapses.

Article 6 – Delivery

  1. We deliver to United Kingdom and the other countries you can choose at checkout. We ship with PostNL and you will receive a track & trace code by email.
  2. The expected delivery time is 2–3 working days within this shop's country and 2–5 working days to other countries. This is an estimate; we will let you know if it takes longer.
  3. If we cannot deliver within 30 days, you may cancel the order free of charge and we will refund you within 14 days.
  4. The risk of damage or loss passes to you as soon as the parcel has been delivered to you (or to someone you have nominated).

Article 7 – Right to withdraw/cancel (14-day cooling-off period)

  1. As a consumer, you may withdraw from (cancel) the contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The cooling-off period starts on the day after you receive the product. If your order is delivered in several shipments, the period starts on the day after you receive the last product.
  2. You can notify us of your withdrawal using the “Withdraw from contract here” button, using the model withdrawal form (see the annex below) or by any other clear statement sent by email to support@acelasers.com. We will immediately send you an acknowledgement of receipt by email.
  3. Please do not send anything back before you have received our return instructions; we will send them to you within one working day of your notification. After that, return the product within 14 days of your notification, complete with all accessories and, where possible, in its original packaging, using a tracked service.
  4. You bear the cost of returning the product.
  5. During the cooling-off period you may only examine and try out the product as you would in a shop. We inspect the product once we receive it. If it is damaged, used or incomplete, or can no longer be sold as new, we will deduct the diminished value from the amount we refund.
  6. We will refund all payments you have made, including the standard cost of the original delivery, as soon as we have received and inspected the product, and at the latest within 14 days of your notification. We may withhold the refund until we have received the product back or until you have supplied proof that you have sent it back, whichever is earlier. We will refund you using the same payment method you used to pay.
  7. The right to withdraw/cancel does not apply to business customers. A business customer can only return a product if we have agreed to this in writing beforehand. We do so purely as a goodwill gesture, case by case; no rights can be derived from it. Your rights for a faulty product (warranty and conformity) remain.

Article 8 – Warranty and defects

  1. Our products conform to the contract and to what you may reasonably expect. Your statutory rights in the event of a defect (conformity) always continue to apply, also after our warranty has ended.
  2. In addition, we give a 1-year warranty from the date of delivery on defects that arise during normal use. If there is a defect, we will replace or repair the product. If that is not possible, we will refund the purchase price.
  3. First report a defect via the returns page or by email, with your order number and a short description (a photo or video helps), and do not send anything back before we have approved your report. We can often solve it straight away, for example by sending you a new product immediately without you having to return the old one. If we ask you to return the product, you do so at your own expense. If our inspection confirms that there is indeed a defect, we will refund your return shipping costs and send the replacement or repaired product to you free of charge.
  4. The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, dropping, moisture, your own repairs or the use of the wrong batteries or chargers. Normal wear of rechargeable batteries is not covered by the warranty either.

Article 9 – Safe use of laser pointers

  1. Laser pointers are not toys. Read the instructions and the warnings on the product before use.
  2. Never point a laser at the eyes of people or animals, at vehicles, or at aircraft and helicopters. This is dangerous and a criminal offence in many countries.
  3. Keep lasers out of the reach of children. You can only order if you are 18 or over.
  4. The rules for laser pointers differ from country to country. Especially for more powerful lasers (Class 3R, 3B and 4), some countries restrict sale to or use by private individuals, or require a licence or professional use. You are responsible for making sure you may buy, import, own and use the product in your country; that risk is yours. Not being allowed to use a product in your country is not a defect.
  5. We are not liable for any damage or fines resulting from incorrect, unsafe or unauthorised use.

Article 10 – Liability

Our liability is limited to the amount of the order concerned. This limitation does not apply in the case of intent or gross negligence and does not affect the rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law.

Article 11 – Complaints

  1. Do you have a complaint? Send us an email at support@acelasers.com with your order number and a clear description. We will reply within 14 days, usually much sooner.
  2. If we cannot resolve it together, as a consumer you can take the matter to the competent court. If you live in another EU country, the European Consumer Centre in your country can help you further. If you live in the UK, you can get help and advice from Citizens Advice.

Article 12 – Privacy

You can read how we handle your personal data in our privacy and cookie policy.

Article 13 – Governing law

These terms and every contract with us are governed by Dutch law. If you are a consumer living in another country, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of that country.

Article 14 – Changes

We may change these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one in force at the time you placed it.

Annex – Model withdrawal (cancellation) form

You can also simply use the “Withdraw from contract here” button. If you prefer to use this form, please fill it in and send it by email to support@acelasers.com.
