High Power Green Laser Pointers

High power green laser pointers at 532 nm and 50–500 mW: the brightest colour to the eye and our first choice for bird control on large areas and pointing out stars.

Products

Why a high power green laser pointer reaches furthest

Green light at 532 nm sits close to the peak sensitivity of the human eye. With the same output, a green dot therefore looks considerably brighter than a red or violet one. Combine that with the 50–500 mW of the ACE Pro series and you get a high power green laser pointer that shows a dot on objects at approx. 500 m in daylight and a beam that is clearly visible up to approx. 5 km in the dark (indicative, depending on conditions).

This is the colour most of our customers choose for agricultural bird control and for astronomy. The AGP-3 Pro is the most chosen model; the AGP-1 Pro adds a removable pattern lens; and the AGP-2 Pro Mini packs the same output range into a 12 cm body with a 16340 cell. The Pro set includes the AGP-1 together with a red and a violet Pro laser.

Range of a green Pro laser (indicative)

  • Daylight: dot on objects at approx. 500 m
  • Dusk: approx. 2 km
  • Dark: beam clearly visible, up to approx. 5 km

Range depends on light, weather and surface. Read more in our article on high-power laser range by colour.

Typical uses

Green Pro lasers are used to scare birds from fields and buildings, to guide astronomy sessions and for long-range outdoor work. If you mainly point at stars on dark nights, a 5–50 mW AG-1 green laser pen may be all you need.

Safety: class 3B lasers can injure the eye instantly, also via reflections. Never aim at people, animals, vehicles or aircraft, wear suitable laser safety goggles and keep the laser away from children. As the buyer you are responsible for complying with UK law. Read our laser safety guide before first use.

Frequently asked questions

Is a green laser brighter than a red one?
Yes, to the human eye. At the same output, 532 nm green looks much brighter than red or violet, so it is visible further away.
What is the difference between the AGP-1 Pro and AGP-3 Pro?
Both are green 50–500 mW class 3B lasers with an 18650 battery, charger and safety keys. The AGP-1 Pro has a removable pattern lens; the AGP-3 Pro is our most chosen model.
Which green Pro laser is the most compact?
The AGP-2 Pro Mini, which measures 12 × 2 × 2 cm and runs on a 16340 cell.
