AGP-2 Pro Mini: compact high-power green laser

Not everyone wants a full-size laser in their pocket all day. The ACE Lasers AGP-2 Pro Mini offers the same output range as the larger green Pro models, 50–500 mW at 532 nm, laser class 3B, in a body of only 12 × 2 × 2 cm. It is the model for users who walk a farm, a field margin or a guided route and want a powerful green laser that does not get in the way.

Where the AGP-2 Pro Mini fits in

  • Rounds on foot: check fields or buildings for birds and act immediately, without a bulky laser. See laser bird scaring.
  • Outdoor guides and leaders: point out landmarks at dusk or stars at night. See astronomy.
  • Emergency kit: a compact way to signal over long distances.

Battery and charging

A 16340 cell is shorter than an 18650 cell and stores less energy, which is the price of the compact size. If you use the laser for long periods, keep a charged spare with you: the PowerFox 16340 2-pack fits, and the PowerFox charger charges 16340 and 18650 batteries, one at a time. Carry spare cells in a case so the contacts cannot short against keys or coins.

Mini or full size?

The AGP-2 Pro Mini has no safety keys: it switches on and off with a single press of the button. If you want safety keys, a momentary button that only fires while held down, or a larger battery, choose the AGP-3 Pro. If compactness matters most, the AGP-2 Pro Mini is the better companion. Both belong to our high power green laser pointers.

Safe use

This is a class 3B laser: direct exposure and reflections from glass, water or metal can injure the eye instantly. Never aim it at people, at the eyes of animals, at vehicles or at aircraft, and never into the sky near flight paths. A small laser is easily left in a coat pocket or a vehicle: always store it out of reach of children and unauthorised users. Wear laser safety goggles rated for the wavelength, keep the laser away from children and store it securely. Sold to adults 18+ and businesses only; as the buyer you are responsible for complying with UK law. Read our laser safety guide.
