Violet laser pens at 405 nm, often called blue or purple lasers: the AV-1 on AAA batteries, rechargeable AVP Pro models and the 500 mW VEX-1000 Pro.
Three pen-style class 3B lasers in green, red and violet, all on AAA batteries.
Searching for a blue laser pen or a purple laser pointer? What most people mean is a violet laser at 405 nm. This wavelength gives a striking violet-blue dot and makes fluorescent materials light up, which makes it popular for demonstrations and specialist applications. It is not the colour for maximum range: the eye is much less sensitive to violet than to green, so the dot looks dimmer and is visible over a shorter distance.
Our violet range covers three levels. The pen-style AV-1 delivers 5–50 mW on two AAA batteries. The AVP-1 Pro and AVP-2 Pro Mini deliver 50–500 mW with a rechargeable cell and charger. The VEX-1000 Pro is a 500 mW high-power professional laser for experienced users. All violet lasers demand the same respect as green ones: the dim appearance does not reduce the eye hazard.
| Model | Output | Power source | Dark (indicative) |
