ACE Lasers VEX-1000 Pro Violet Laser (500 mW)

VEX-1000 Pro: 500 mW high-power professional laser

The ACE Lasers VEX-1000 Pro is a 500 mW high-power professional laser emitting violet light at 405 nm, at the top end of our range. It is built in a sturdier, compact housing of 10 × 4 × 4 cm and runs on two rechargeable 16340 batteries, supplied with a charger. This laser is intended for experienced adult users and businesses only.

Power is not the same as visibility

Customers looking for the most powerful laser pointer sometimes expect the VEX-1000 Pro to be the most visible one. It is not. Because the eye responds weakly to 405 nm, a violet dot looks dimmer than a green dot. Indicatively, the VEX-1000 Pro shows a dot at approx. 100 m in daylight, approx. 500 m at dusk and approx. 2 km in the dark. For maximum visible range, a green model such as the AGP-3 Pro reaches further. Our article on what milliwatts really mean explains why.

Box contents

The VEX-1000 Pro comes as a complete kit: the laser, 2 rechargeable 16340 batteries, a charger, safety goggles, an aluminium case and 5 pattern caps. Fit a pattern cap for projected shapes at short range; remove it for a focused dot. Always check that any goggles you use are rated for 405 nm, and store the laser in its case, locked away, when not in use.

Strict safety rules

At this output, eye injury can occur instantly, even from a brief reflection off glass, water, metal or a glossy surface. Use the VEX-1000 Pro outdoors only, with a clear and controlled background, and never with bystanders in the beam path. Never aim it at people, at the eyes of animals, at vehicles or at aircraft, and never into the sky. Keep it away from children. Sold to adults 18+ and businesses only; as the buyer you are responsible for complying with UK law. Read our laser safety guide and our laser safety glasses guide before first use.
