High powered laser pointers for demanding outdoor work
The ACE Lasers Pro series is the top of our range: high powered laser pointers with an output of 50–500 mW, laser class 3B. Where a pen-style laser gives a good dot at dusk, a Pro model keeps a usable dot on objects in daylight and throws a clearly visible beam across kilometres at night. That reserve of power is what farmers need to move birds off a large field before sunset, and what guides use to point out faint stars to a big group.
Every Pro laser runs on a rechargeable lithium-ion cell and comes with a charger. The full-size models (AGP-1, AGP-3, ARP-1, AVP-1) use an 18650 cell, have safety keys and a momentary button that fires only while you hold it; the Pro Mini models (AGP-2, ARP-2, AVP-2) use a smaller 16340 cell, measure only 12 cm, have no safety keys and switch with a one-press on/off button. The VEX-1000 Pro is a 500 mW violet high-power professional laser in a sturdier housing. Choose by colour: green for the longest visible range, red for a red dot, and violet for 405 nm work.

Buying advice
- Not sure which colour? Choose green. At the same output it looks several times brighter than red or violet.
- Want all three colours? The Pro set AGP-1 + ARP-1 + AVP-1 combines them.
- Need less power? Our pen-style green laser pens (5–50 mW) are often enough for star pointing.
- Spare power: keep a charged 18650 batteries (2-pack) or 16340 batteries (2-pack) with you on long sessions.
Compare models side by side on our compare page or answer a few questions in the laser finder.
Safety: class 3B lasers can injure the eye instantly, also via reflections. Never aim at people, animals, vehicles or aircraft, wear suitable laser safety goggles and keep the laser away from children. As the buyer you are responsible for complying with UK law. Read our laser safety guide before first use.
Frequently asked questions
What does 50–500 mW mean?
It is the output range stated for our Pro series, laser class 3B. It is far more than a class 2 presentation pointer, which is why a dot stays visible in daylight and safety precautions are essential.
Which high powered laser pointer is the best seller?
The AGP-3 Pro green laser pointer is our most chosen Pro model.
Are batteries and a charger included?
Yes. Pro models come with a rechargeable 18650 cell (16340 in the Mini models) and a charger.
